The High Level Commission for Information Technology (HLCIT) of Nepal Government, in partnership with USAID's Information Communicaiton Technologies Golbal Development Alliance (ICT GDA) project are pleased to announce that Demonstration and Interaction program on Nepal's first online Rural Information Gateway on Sunday 30th, March 2008 at Hotel Himalaya, was successfully conducted. The program was intended to provide stakeholders an oppertunity to share feedbacks about the portal itself, as well as the content it carries. There were many feedbacks and comments during the program. Although, the scope of this initiative is does not inlcude all services that were suggested during the program, the portal is expected to be upgraded in future. This initiative will provide a platform for all to understand the gravity and the need of localized content development in the nation. We regret that some of the invitees could not join us during the program.
